1. General information
The general goals of the subject are to know the fundamental problems of Philosophical Anthropology, to place them in their corresponding historical and social context and to provide students with basic conceptual tools in the field of contemporary philosophical reflection.}
The approaches and goals of the subject are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030.
Although there are no specific recommendations for taking the subject, in order to make the most of it, it is advisable to follow the indicated work program and the recommended readings in classroom classes.
2. Learning results
In order to pass this subject, the students shall demonstrate they has acquired the following results:
1. Knows how to formulate the most important problems that arise in the subject.
2. Correctly relates the diverse conceptions of the human being with the general movement of society.
3. Can coherently develop a written exposition on the dimensions that characterize the structure and condition of human existence and that are the subject of anthropological debate.

This subject facilitates the knowledge and understanding of the different conceptions of the human being most influential in the history of western philosophy and pays special attention to contemporary debates on the problematic of the human subject in the complex contemporary society.
5. Assessment system
The continuous assessment will consist of a written test on the concepts and readings developed in the classes (80% of the grade) and a tutored work (20% of the grade). In order to take this modality, attendance to 80% of the sessions of both T1 and T2 will be mandatory.
The single global assessment will consist of a written test in the form of an exam on the date proposed by the University of Zaragoza on the concepts and readings developed in class (0 to 10 points).
